Anita Brogan is an established Health Economics leader with over 20 years of experience designing and building economic analyses to support value assessment and patient access for new healthcare interventions. She collaborates with clients to develop user-friendly global and country-specific models designed to both strategically demonstrate value and employ robust scientific methods. Technically skilled in simple and complex modeling methodologies, Anita works with clients to identify the most appropriate methods for each situation. Anita’s modeling expertise includes cost-effectiveness, budget-impact, optimization, population, and other analyses, with a specialty in HIV and infectious disease modeling. Her modeling work has successfully supported market access, HTA submissions, and usage recommendations for new interventions in a variety of therapeutic areas and markets.

Prior to joining AESARA, Anita led health economic modeling work at RTI Health Solutions for 22 years. She holds a PhD in Operations Research from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and serves on the Pharmacoeconomics journal editorial board. Anita loves teaching and has presented workshops and short courses on decision-analytic modeling techniques in a variety of venues, including ISPOR and AMCP conferences. She currently serves on the ISPOR program committee and education council. Anita is co-author of the book “Budget-Impact Analysis of Health Care Interventions: A Practical Guide.”
