Biography
Eugenio Zucchelli is a Director of Value in Evidence at AESARA and an internationally recognized health economist with over 15 years of experience across academia, consultancy, and policy. He has published widely in leading peer-reviewed journals and provided scientific leadership on externally funded research programs totaling approximately €13.9 million. His expertise spans real-world evidence, causal inference, and advanced quantitative methods to inform healthcare strategy and decision-making. Previously a tenured Associate Professor at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Spain, and Senior Lecturer at Lancaster University, UK, he has led multidisciplinary teams and international collaborations. He is an Adjunct Professor at IE University, Spain, and serves as Associate Editor of Value in Health Regional Issues, an ISPOR-affiliated journal, and has advised major health research initiatives across the UK and Europe.
