Biography
Kelsey Strey is serving as the Visiting Scientist with AESARA. Previously, she received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. During her time in her research program, Kelsey collaborated with faculty in the Pharmacotherapy division and with neighboring research
institutions on clinical and health outcomes research. Specifically, her research utilized large datasets to evaluate laboratory biomarkers in predicting health outcomes in a national cohort of Clostridioides difficile infection patients. She is eager to provide and build upon her experiences conducting literature reviews and designing, managing, and
analyzing real-world data across a range of therapeutic areas including infectious diseases, women’s health, and gastroenterology as a visiting scientist.
Kelsey also holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. Throughout her graduate studies she maintained a strong foundation in pharmacy and continued serving her community as a registered pharmacist.

- As a graduate student, Kelsey’s accomplishments included 9 peer-reviewed publications, 15 research abstracts, and multiple university fellowships. She was also selected from her graduating class as the recipient of the Doctoral Research Merit Award.
