Biography
Khang Nguyen holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Biomedical and Health Informatics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His academic journey has guided him toward a career in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Market Access. During his time as an administrative extern with the UI TEAM RX model, Khang gained valuable insight into the role of data in shaping critical healthcare decisions. He also worked alongside the Pharmacy Systems, Outcomes & Policy (PSOP) department at UIC to assess the cost-effectiveness of pharmacist-physician collaborative practices. Additionally, he’s held internships with Astellas and Alkemi. His primary areas of interest include patient-centered outcomes, real-world evidence, and access strategies.
