Ohene K. Asare is Operations, VP and a co-founder of AESARA Inc.
Ohene applies expert knowledge and industry experience to AESARA’s strategic solutions, management consulting and core organizational operations.
With nearly 20 years in the biopharmaceutical industry across Clinical, Data Management, Project Management, Medical Affairs and Market Access in global and regional roles, Ohene brings a broad perspective and a passion for seeing people and organizations achieve their full potential.
Prior to AESARA, Ohene worked within the industry at Biogen, Comprehensive Neuroscience, ICON and Quintiles.
Key achievements
- Org Strategy: Executed strategic plan to grow a Market Access organization from <10 FTES to ~ 70 FTEs over 4 years
- Corporate leadership: Successfully led a cross-functional executive initiative (acrossR&D and Commercial) to develop and implement a global policy for expanded access
- Project Management: Managed an improvement initiative in program management focused on best practices for management of global clients by developing procedures and designing strategies to improve cost and project duration metrics.

My letter
The position or mindset an individual starts with is usually a significant predictor of eventual outcome. Alpha is the beginning, the catalyst, the lead that defines the course. I have pushed myself to learn to lead authentically because I have seen first-hand the importance of having a diversity of perspectives defining the starting line. At AESARA we are seeking to lead a new approach and catalyze change to ultimately shape a different outcome.
