US HEOR lead sought to proactively submit a review application to Blue Cross Blue Shield Evidence Street for a product newly launched, with the need to kickoff and complete the application within 7 weeks. Several studies had been presented at scientific congresses though manuscripts were still in development. While publications were limited, the body of evidence was strong. The desire was to submit the strongest submission possible given the available published data and set a foundation for updating as manuscripts were accepted.
- Established an action plan with key milestone, dates and operating mechanisms to drive coordination across a cross-functional team representing internal HEOR, Medical, Clinical, and Payer teams, as well as external KOLs
- Led the writing and content development of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Evidence Street review application, incorporating non-traditional approaches to optimize the strength of evidence submitted on the newly launched product
- Completed the submission of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Evidence Street review application with all relevant supporting documentation within the 7 week timeframe
